Our clients rely on us to care for their pets and home when they can’t be there, and we must hire sitters who will take this job seriously. We care for great pets and we only hire great sitters!

Currently hiring for Canton & Northville areas (you can choose one or the other or both areas)

Pet Sitter / Dog Walker:

Requirements (you must meet all of these):

You must be passionate about pets!
You must be able to work on your own from written instructions.
You must pass a background check.
You must live in or near the Canton OR Northville area. These are the areas we need help with. If you do not live within a few miles of one of these areas you will not be considered for the position. You can choose to service one or the other or both areas.
Hours: Vary. You will need to be available to do work for at least 2 hours each time in the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening 7 days a week, including holidays. It will not always be 7 days a week / 3 times a day but it could be during our busier times. It generally will consist of 15-20 hours a week.
Being flexible is a MUST!
You must be satisfied with making $150-300 a week. You will average about $16 an hour plus occasional tips.
You must have a reliable insured car. There is a fair amount of driving involved. If you do not like to drive, you should not apply. Getting good gas mileage is a plus.
You must have internet access and a printer at home, you will also need a cell phone.

If you can not commit to working for at least 24 months, are anticipating a move out of the area, or will be seeking a full time job in the next 24 months, this is NOT for you.

The Interview Process:

After you have completed your online application and it is received by us, your application will be fully reviewed and considered.

Your references will be checked. Thereafter, if Comfy Creatures is satisfied with your references, we will email you to schedule a interview. You should add wecare@comfycreatures.com to your safe senders list as our response could end in your spam folder.

Attend the interview. At the interview we will have you fill out a Applicant Information Release form. This form will authorize us to perform a background check on you which may include, but may not be limited to, driving records and criminal records. We make every attempt to insure the safety and security of the owner’s home, pets and property. If you are not willing to have a background check done, you need not apply.

If an offer made to you by Comfy Creatures and if you accept our offer, it will be necessary for you to sign a non-solicit agreement prior to pet sitting for us. Questions regarding the non-solicit agreement can be answered during the interview.
